For the past two days students have been telling me that they can’t access the Internet via wireless access. I’ve reported this to LSO with a cc to consultant@columbia.edu but have heard no word back from either entity. I’ve been lending out the one ethernet cable we keep in the drawer and holding IDs but we’ve lost many a cable using this technique.

Several students have reported today (Monday) that the wireless is not working in the reference room. I sent a pbm rpt to LSO.

The number posted on some pages for the MRR (854-5328) is not correct. The correct number is 854-4704.

Please mark your schedule conflicts, vacations, etc. on weekly sheets (u:\shared\junko\spring2006) by December 1.

If you have any general preference such as “I want keep Monday evenings,” “I like mornings,” “Don’t give me three-hour stretch on Friday,” please let Junko know. As we discussed, such wishes may or may not be accommodated, but Junko will try. You can email her your preferences or note them on the Feb. 6 sheet.
